Masculinity Movies is a site dedicated to exploring what masculinity and manhood might look like in the 21st century, and it does so through the lens of movies. My review focuses on what we can learn and apply from a violent tale set in the 12th century, though the lessons learned will look very different in our times of course.

Let’s hope that we men don’t have to lose everything we have before we are able to rouse ourselves from our lethargy and fear of the Great Feminine and begin to once again control our own lives and destinies.
